An Aisling's Tawny
Registered Name: Tawny Tau the Tazmanian Princess
Tawny was born on September 9, 2003, and she has an OFA rating of "good." She is registered with both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the United Kennel Club (UKC).
We were fortunate to add Tawny to our family on April 1, 2006. Tawny came to us with many "hidden" talents. The first one we picked up on was her ability to climb fences (even ones that are five feet tall). That first night we had her was very interesting. Fortunately, she's a wonderful dog and she has such a pleasant disposition, that it was really hard to get upset with her. All she wanted was be with us. She never tried to leave the yard or go out on the road. Most of the time when we got to a part of the yard where she couldn't see us, she'd climb over the fence and come looking for us. I guess she needed to know that we were okay.
One of our favorite things to do is to watch Tawny run. Tawny looks just like a gazelle when she runs. She has such a gracefulness about her (which is in stark contrast to our boys).
Tawny had a litter back in January of 2007: 3 boys and 4 girls. Here's a photo with Tawny and one of her babies from that litter.
Tawny just had her third and final litter. Tawny is now retired and will enjoy the rest of her days playing with her siblings and swimming in the ponds.
